1. About this service

Guru Job Seeker (“Guru,” “we,” “us”) is an AI-assisted job application tool that helps candidates prepare tailored application materials, including resume feedback, cover letters, and interview preparation. The service is operated by an individual based in Sydney, Australia.

By using Guru, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. AI-generated content disclaimer

All outputs produced by Guru are generated by an artificial intelligence model. These outputs are intended to assist and inform your job application process — they are not a guarantee of employment outcomes, and they do not constitute professional career counselling, legal advice, or any other form of regulated professional service.

You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it. Guru makes no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any output for your specific situation.

3. Free runs and subscription

Guru offers two free runs per user. After your free runs are used, continued access requires a monthly subscription at $9 AUD (or local equivalent) per month.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• There is no lock-in contract. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods already paid.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Guru for personal, lawful purposes only. You must not:

• Use the service to generate content that is false, misleading, or fraudulent in a job application context.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits through automated requests, VPNs, or other means to avoid payment.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit outputs generated by the service without permission.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law.

5. Intellectual property

The Guru Job Seeker brand, interface, and underlying systems are owned by us. AI-generated outputs produced using your resume and job description content are provided to you for your personal use. You retain ownership of any content you upload (your resume, job description text).

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guru Job Seeker and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to unsuccessful job applications or reliance on AI-generated content.

The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Guru after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
